A complex backend became a simple tablet solution
Ege carpets -a world leader in carpet manufacturing - was to improve salesforce efficiency and corporate motivation with a mobile strategy. The solution was a HTML based web-app targeting tablets and smartphones.
Cumbersome and inflexible working practices in the sale of special offer products was one of the challenges for Ege to get a handle on location. The sellers had to call in before every sale to make sure that any piece of carpet were still in stock.
What the client Needed
Ege needed to bring the efficiency and flexibility back into the hands of the sales force and remove any uncertainty in connection with the sale.
Ege wanted a solution that not only helped them through the sales phase, but also would bring the company's ERP into the latest frontend technology - mobile phones and tablets.
How we helped them
We developed a web-app solution that not only removed Ege current problems. They got a state-of-the-art corporate toolbox with features to cover the needs of both salesforce and back office; prepare for meetings, complete history on all customers with diagrams and figures, customer lists, product catalogs just to mention a few.
The web-app was created and based on live data from Ege's own IBM System i™ backend and wrapped in beautifully and logic UI that will motivate anyone to work on the fronted of technology. We used PadForm™ mobile frame work the web-app is accessible as long as you got a browser. One solution to fit all platforms.
